The construction of the Amarante’s Skate Park in Parque Ribeirinho, by MCA PSS, is completed and now serves the Municipality.
As we had already reported (information you can access here), the work started in November and had an average of 7 workers who guaranteed the good pace and constant evolution of the project.
The park was designed for the practice of skate and skating and has four ramps prepared for a medium level. Nevertheless there are intermediate and initiation areas that grant pedagogical progressions between the existing obstacles, allowing a consistent and safer evolution of the practitioners of the various modalities. It also includes several technical details of construction, such as escape zones between the different ramps, the protection of the upper top of the structures and the roughing of edges on the ramps, in order to guarantee and certify the users safety.
The equipment meets the requirements to be approved by the Portuguese federation of the modality, thus allowing the realization of federated tests.
This new park encourages more dynamism in the city of Amarante, expanding and diversifying the sporting offer, responding to the growing demand for this type of equipment by young people and by the municipality’s skater community.
Another MCA work delivered to the Municipality of Amarante to promote the sport and well-being of this city.
