ELAN – a company of the MCA Group that offers various solutions in the rural and urban electrification market as well as streamlined and clean integrated energy production technologies, including transportation and distribution – has built a new Medium & Low Voltage network in the Consolata District, in the city of Funda, Luanda province, Angola.
The works included the lifting of the Medium & Low Voltage poles and the construction of the Transformer Substation, so that the fixing and placement of accessories and cable can be done.
The home connection and public lighting in the city is part of the rehabilitation and expansion program for Medium & Low Voltage networks and public lighting in the urban area. This new network will allow ENDE – National Electricity Distribution Company of Angola – to generate more revenue with a prepaid system from more than 1250 new customers.
With this project, it will be possible to help cope with the housing and consumption high growth in this area of the city, avoiding the potential harmful consequences of the fluctuations, managing to exponentially reduce service interruptions and allow the distribution of more quality energy to citizens, contributing to improve the living conditions of the population and the socioeconomic development of the province.
